The Festival of World Sacred Music is becoming increasingly international success since its inception in 1994, every year in late May and early June, this event brings together artists from different cultures around the same musical passion. The festival has grown with the addition of Fez Encounters, bringing together intellectuals, scientists and humanists, and the selection of free concerts in the city. Another festival, Jazz in Riyadh, reveals an original and rich musical houses of the medina. Fez also knows celebrate theater, again with two festivals: one brings together Moroccan professionals and the world; the second puts the spotlight on university theater productions across the country.
